Printer Troubleshooting - Control Panel
Ensure that the Repair Order Printer the repair order printer is working with the Operating System of the connection machinecomputer by checking the Control Panel.
Access the Windows Start Menu by clicking the Windows Symbolicon.

Once When the Control Panel is open opens, select Devices and Printers. If needed in the right hand corner adjust the dropdown to ‘Category’; then click on ‘View devices and Printers’ under Hardware and Sound, select Category from the View By dropdown menu, then click View devices and printers as shown in the picture below.

All connected Devices and Printers will display here. Find devices and printers connected to the computer will be displayed. Locate the repair order printer .

To set the the repair order printer as the Default Printer:
In the Devices and Printers section of Control Panel, use the mouse to right-click the repair order printer then select Set as Default Printer.
Ensure the repair order printer is recognized as the default printer in the Devices and Printers section of the Control Panel.

Test Printing
Once the repair order printer is set as the Default Printer, test if it can print from Windows and Driverse.
Test Printing from Windows
To print a test page from Windows:
In the Devices and Printers section of Control Panel, use the mouse to right-click the Repair Order printer and click ‘repair order printer then select Printer Properties’.
Select the General tab, then click the ‘Print Test Page’ button at the bottom right of the window button.

A new window will appear that will show the customer Repair Order, click on ‘Print’ at the bottom of the window.

An additional window will appear. Confirm the correct Repair Order printer is selected from the dropdown, then click 'Print'.

page from Windows, try to reprint an invoice from Driverse.
Open Driverse, then select Quick Lube from the navigation menu.
In the repair order list, click Completed.
Click on a completed repair order from the displayed list.
Once the repair order opens, click the Print button. The print window opens.
In the print window, click the Print button.
An additional print preview window will open with the computer’s selected default printer displayed. Verify that the printer selection is accurate, then click the Print button to print the invoice.
Once the invoice has printed, click the Close button to exit the print window.
Click the View All Repair Orders link to return to the Quick Lube page.
