Chek-Chart ChekChart from Motor information provides Oil Capacity, Filter Recommendations (Oil, Air, and Cabin), Serpentine Belts, and Wipers. It also shows preventive maintenance information that is used during the Service Review, as well as vehicle information that has torque and other fluid capacities.

ChekChart and the Vehicles Screen
During the ticket-creation process, Chek-Chart is used to populate the information on the Vehicles screen.
To return to the Vehicles screen after the ticket has been created, double-click on a ticket to open it. Then press F7 or click the Edit Vehicle menu option listed on the left of the screen.

Line items are color coded to indicate different category status:

Clicking in the Oil Type, Oil Capacity, or Oil Change Interval fields, will change what’s displayed on the right to oil-specific recommendations.

ChekChart Vehicle Information Report
Chek-Chart also provides a Vehicle Information Reference report which is usually two to three pages long and can be printed for the customer. You can view this information by clicking on the Vehicle Information Report button in the lower left-hand corner of the Vehicles window.

Updating ChekChart
Chek-Chart is updated periodically and when it is time to update, you will receive an email to let you know. You can, however, check to see if you are up-to-date at any time. View this short video on how to do this.
