Troubleshooting VIN and Coupon Scanners
Confirm Caps Lock is Disabled
If Caps Lock is enabled, it alters what is being scanned into Driverse.
Locate the Caps Lock key on the keyboard. If a light is shown on the key, it indicates Caps Lock is currently enabled. Press the Caps Lock key on the keyboard to disable it.
If there is no light on the Caps Lock key, try typing in an email or other program. If the typed text is in CAPITAL letters, it indicates that Caps Lock is enabled. Press the Caps Lock key on the keyboard to disable it.
Once the Caps Lock has been disabled, try scanning again. If the issue remains, follow the steps in the Power Cycle the Scanner section.
