What is Driverse?

Driverse is an application that allows our customers to easily access up-to-date labor times, parts, and diagrams

Is Driverse an addon to Invomax or a stand-alone product?

Driverse is both. The first release will be an addon to Invomax, but it will become a stand-alone product.

What does Driverse allow a customer to do?

Driverse allows our customers to:

  • Search for a specific vehicle.

  • Search for labor services.

  • Search for vehicle parts.

  • Look up labor times for services.

  • Look up vehicle parts for services.

  • Build an estimate.

  • Add custom labor services and rates to an estimate.

  • Add custom parts to an estimate.

Is Driverse replacing a current Invomax function?

No, Driverse is an addon and not replacing existing functionality.

What information does Driverse provide to the customer?

Driverse provides our customers with labor times, parts and diagrams for a vehicle.

Will there be any online help for customers that can be accessed in Driverse?

Yes, our customers will find a link to Driverse online help on the Driverse home page.

How long will it take from the time a customer requests Driverse to the time they are able to use Driverse?

For our existing customers that choose to add Driverse access, the turnaround will be three days. For new customers, the expected turnaround is five days.

Does Driverse require internet access?

Internet connectivity is required, and our customers should ensure that they have a reasonable internet connection, and wherever possible it is always good practice to have a secondary, even if it is via a cell phone provider and a cell phone.

Can Driverse be used on any browser?

Any Chromium-based browser such as Chrome or Microsoft Edge can be used. It is recommended that Google Chrome be used as the default browser for optimum Driverse customer experience.

Can Driverse be opened on a tablet or phone?

No, not with the the first release of Driverse. Our Invomax customers will be updated to the newest Invomax version that they will then use to open Driverse.

Can Driverse be opened without opening Invomax?

No, not with the the first release of Driverse. Our Invomax customers will be updated to the newest Invomax version that they will then use to open Driverse.

Is there a limit to the number of devices per license that can be logged in to Driverse at one time?

For its first release, Driverse is limited to the Invomax license per location.

Will closing Invomax also close Driverse?

No, closing Invomax will not close Driverse.

How will a customer’s internal network be affected?

The server and workstations must still be on the same network that connects to the internet when running Invomax. There is no central server which connects to Driverse, therefore, each individual install of Invomax, will have the ability to connect to Driverse directly.

What customer data from Invomax are in the plans to be moved over to Driverse?

With the first release of Driverse, data stored with Invomax by our customers will not be migrated. Plans for data migration will be shared with our customers as the plans are developed.

Are updated diagrams automatically provided by Driverse?

Our customers will have access to updated diagrams immediately immediately after they are provided to our automotive data supplier by the manufacturers. 

Where does the labor, parts, and diagram information in Driverse come from?

Driverse gets vehicle information from our automotive data supplier, Motor, and it in turn it gets its data directly from the manufacturers.

Is vehicle data available for all makes and models for every year listed?

The data that is available to our customers depend on the manufacturer and whether they provide it.

Can vehicles be added if it is not found in the search?

The ability for our customers to add vehicles to Driverse is not part of this release.

Is a password required to open Driverse?

No, not in the first release of Driverse. For the first release, after a customer purchases the Driverse add-on, their Driverse license is activated. After Invomax 11814 is installed and opened after license activation, the Driverse button will be available to access Driverse. Please note that internet connectivity is required for the license activation to be detected and the Driverse button to be available.

Can Driverse be opened on multiple computers at the same time?

Yes, after license activation and reopening of Invomax, customers will see the Driverse “D” in Invomax 11814 and be able to use it to access Driverse from multiple computers as long as each computer is updated to Invomax 11814.

Note: Each time the Driverse button is selected, a new instance of Driverse will open in the default browser.

Will an automatic logout occur in Driverse?

In the first release of Driverse, customers will not access Driverse by logging into an account, so no logout can occur. The session will timeout after a long period of inactivity and the session will end if internet connectivity is lost.
