Driverse Guide: Selecting a Vehicle

The vehicle selection page is used to find a specific vehicle by entering search criteria using a five-step process. The progress bar displays what steps in the process are complete. During the search process, criteria can be selected using the dropdown boxes or the criteria can be typed directly into the search fields.

Vehicle Selection Page

To find a specific vehicle:

  1. Enter the year of the vehicle by typing the information directly into the year field or select the dropdown menu that corresponds to the decade of the needed year. Using the Dropdown box will automatically populate the year field.

     

  2. If necessary, clear the year (step one) by clicking on the completed step and select the needed year.



  3. Enter the Make of the vehicle by typing it directly into the Make field or selecting it from the list of available makes. (Scrolling may be necessary.
    Note: the vehicle makes are filtered according to the selected year.

     

  4. If necessary, clear the Make (step two) by clicking on the completed step and start the step over.



  5. Next, select the Model.

     

  6. If necessary clear the Model (step three) by clicking on the completed step and start the step over.

  7. Then select the the Submodel.

     

  8. If necessary clear the Submodel (step four) by clicking on the completed step and start the step over.

  9. Finally, select the Engine.


    If necessary, clear the submodel (step four). Clear each step in reverse order until reaching the step to continue with.



  10. After selecting the engine, the start button will be enabled. Select it to finish the vehicle selection and and to move on to the Estimator page.
    Note: The Start button will not be available unless all fields have been populated.



After any entry is made, if a subsequent field has only one option available, that option is automatically populated so no selection is necessary.
