Users with access to security settings and other restricted areas of the program will be required to use multi-factor authentication as required by PCI 3.2.

Purging of customers, inventory, loyalty, and tickets is now supported and can be configured (Requires special right)


Additional Features & Improvements

Gift Cards

  • New Feature: Gift Cards – Enforce Card Number Ranges by Gift Card Program (Certificate Code)

    • Targeted for locations that print different cards based on the wash or service they are loading on to the card. For example, a gold wash/service might be printed on a card with a gold background and the silver wash/service might be printed on a silver card.

    • The Card Number Range is enforced when sold but not when redeemed. Cards that are already sold will not be affected cards that have already be sold to ease implementation

  • Added EMV support when looking up a gift card

Voiding Tickets

  • Voiding Tickets Enhancements

    • When voiding tickets from a previous day, the original ticket is now left as-is and a new ticket is created that reverses the original.

    • Partial refunds are now supported for inventory items that are paid for with cash or credit card. Partial refunds are turned off by default. They must be turned on.

    • The Business Operations user experience has been changed significantly to make easier for the user to step through the process of handling a return

Business Operations Changes

  • Added hot key for booking an appointment from both the Main Form and the Appointments form

  • Touch Screen - Added MSR status info to the status bar. This will show what type of MSR is configured. If using a HID mode reader, it will show if the reader is connected and if the reader is encrypted

  • Vehicle screens now handle Internal Vehicle Engines and Internal Vehicle Chassis (applies to locations servicing heavy duty trucks)

  • Datacap EMV Terminals

    • Added electronic signature capture (Ingenico iSC250, Ingenico iSC480, Ingenico Lane 5000 and Ingenico Lane 7000)

    • Added manual card number entry into the terminal (Ingenico iSC250, Ingenico iSC480, Ingenico Lane 5000 and Ingenico Lane 7000)

    • Added support for the Touch Dynamic VIII with Quick Chip

  • Touch Screen - Added the Customer Name under the ticket items on right-hand side of touch screen

  • Touch Screen Certificate Lookup Form – Added the ability to lookup certificates by their serial number and see the number of Original and Remaining redemption counts as well as any past transactions

  • Added the ability to require special approval of any ticket over a predetermined amount at checkout

  • Added EMV support for gift card payments in compact mode

Business Management

  • Cash Reconciliation Report now contains a message for refund tickets that are in progress

Internal Vehicle Editor

  • The Internal Vehicle Editor is a new tool for sites that service heavy duty trucks (aka Semis, Rigs, etc)

  • The vehicle editor's purpose is to add vehicles to your POS solution to use within Business Operations. Any vehicle that is not supplied via Chek-Chart can be saved 'internally' using the Vehicle Editor feature and be used inside of Business Operations as any regular commercial vehicle. A vehicle can be split into an engine and a chassis. An engine being the traditional year make and model, and a chassis also having a year, make, and model.

Inventory Changes

  • Purchase Orders can now be searched on their status

  • Added ability to capture an image from the LPR camera at the end of each sale

System Maintenance

  • Store Setup

    • Added Large Ticket Checkout Authorization at Checkout setting

      • Require an override password whenever a ticket reaches a predetermined amount

    • Added Legal Name to the General tab. This can be used in Agreements when the Store Name and Legal Name needed for any agreements are different

    • Added Marketing Name to the General tab. This can be used in Agreements to generically refer to a set of stores by how they are marketed

Accounting Integration

  • Accounting Integration now includes additional Payroll export format
