Store and Forward
Deferred Authorization, also known as Store and Forward, are transactions that are processed offline, at the merchant's own risk, when internet connectivity is not available. Once internet connectivity is regained, the transactions are forwarded for processing.
Supplementary Information
When transactions are stored, they will always be approved if they fall within the Merchant Parameter settings. It is at the merchant's own risk to use Deferred Authorization and continue to run credit transactions.
When payments are being stored, the response message "OFFLIN" will display when processing a credit transaction within Business Operations.
Deferred Authorization Manager attempts to forward transactions, regardless if there are any, every fifteen (15) minutes.
Store and Forward details are displayed on the Cash Reconciliation screen and also reported on Business Snapshot, Cash Reconciliation, and Store and Forward Details reports.
