Deferred Authorization: Store and Forward Feature
Deferred Authorization, also known as Store and Forward, is a feature that allows transactions to be processed offline, at the merchant's own risk, when internet connectivity is not available. Once internet connectivity is regained, the transactions are forwarded for processing.
Additional Information
When transactions are stored, they will always be approved if they fall within the Merchant Parameter settings. It is at the merchant's own risk to use Deferred Authorization and continue to run credit transactions.
When payments are being stored, the response message "OFFLINE" will display when processing a credit transaction within Business Operations.
Deferred Authorization Manager attempts to forward transactions every fifteen (15) minutes whether or not there are transactions to stored.
Store and Forward details are displayed on the Cash Reconciliation screen and also reported on Business Snapshot, Cash Reconciliation, and Store and Forward Details reports.
Datacap provides Store and Forward parameter information here: Merchant Parameter Setting
Mann Merchant and FullSpeed Automotive are responsible for setting all parameters including Maximum Stored Transactions and Purchase Limit for Stored Transactions.
Â
Once this feature is enabled, the customer will use the Store and Forward feature at their own risk. The customer and Merchant Partner determine the Max Transactions and Max Purchase limit. Driverse is not liable for missed transactions or payment errors while using this feature.
