Surcharges
Surcharges are additional fees added to the usual amount or cost of an item
1. Open eGenuity software
2. Select Inventory Management from top panel menu
3. Select My Store Inventory from left panel menu
4. Click on Item Maintenance icon
a. Select Search (F7)
i. Step 1: Find the Item Code with a: From the drop-down menu, select the desired criteria
ii. Of: Enter * to display all options or, depending on criteria select above, select option from drop-down menu
iii. Click on binoculars to complete search
iv. Step 2: Select the Item Code from the list below:
v. Double-click desired item to enable editing
b. Select Price Details tab
i. Price: Enter price customers are charged
ii. Unit Surcharge: Enter the additional amount per unit. This amount automatically adds to a ticket if the item is included in a service/package. The Unit Surcharge multiplies by the number of retail units.
iii. Fixed Surcharge: Enter the additional amount per unit. This amount automatically adds to a ticket if the item is included in a service/package. The Fixed Surcharge adds a flat rate regardless of the retail units
c. Save (F5)
