eLube: Third Party Vendors

To ensure security and accuracy, all sign-on requests must come directly from the third party. Please contact the vendor directly to open an account; they will notify us of the request and provide the necessary approval to activate.

CarFax

CarFax Integration features include:

  • CarFax QuickVIN allows customers to search the CarFax database by vehicle license plate. If a match is returned, the system converts the VIN and provides vehicle year, make, model and engine information.

  • CarFax Service Link Interface adds and displays the customer’s center name and services performed to the vehicle’s CarFax Vehicle History report. Customer data is automatically sent to CarFax on a nightly basis.

    • Important Note: Sending location data to CarFax is required to use the QuickVIN features. If a location does not wish to send data, their CarFax account would be terminated.

Throttle

Throttle offers marketing and customer communication options to drive business. Setup consists of a nightly data feed that sends location invoice information to Throttle directly. The feeds are setup on the location's server, or central office server computer and are automated to run after the day has been closed. All features and functionality are handled by Throttle directly.
