Unplug the scanner from the computer and wait 5 seconds.
Plug the scanner back into the computer.

Again, unplug the scanner from the computer and wait 5 seconds.
Plug the scanner back into the computer.
Open the Notepad application from the Windows start menu. Perform a test scan in notepad, the scan results should return and display similar to below:

Unplug the connection cable from the cradle to computer.

Put the scanner on the cradle to pair the scanner to the cradle

Put the scanner on the cradle to resync the scanner and cradle
Plug in the connection cable from cradle to computer.
Open the Notepad application from the Windows start menu. Perform a test scan in notepad, the scan results should return and display similar to below:
