Programming Wired Scanner

  1. Scan the factory default barcode for the model of scanner. Default barcodes found below; Scanner Factory Default Barcodes.

  2. Unplug the scanner from the computer and wait 5 seconds.

  3. Plug the scanner back into the computer.

  4. Scan the programming document for your specific scanner. Programming barcodes found below; Scanner Programming Barcodes.

  5. Again, unplug the scanner from the computer and wait 5 seconds.

  6. Plug the scanner back into the computer.

Open the Notepad application from the Windows start menu. Perform a test scan in notepad, the scan results should return and display similar to below:

Programming Wireless Scanner

  1. Unplug the connection cable from the cradle to computer.

  2. Scan the factory default barcode for the model of scanner. Default barcodes found below; Scanner Factory Default Barcodes.

  3. Put the scanner on the cradle to pair the scanner to the cradle

  4. Scan the programming document for your specific scanner. Programming barcodes found below; Scanner Programming Barcodes.

  5. Put the scanner on the cradle to resync the scanner and cradle

  6. Plug in the connection cable from cradle to computer.

Open the Notepad application from the Windows start menu. Perform a test scan in notepad, the scan results should return and display similar to below:
