Apply Payments
1. Open eGenuity software
2. Select Accounts Receivable from top panel menu
3. Select My Accounts from left panel menu
4. Click on Accounts Receivable icon
a. Select Search (F7)
i. If necessary, complete the required search criteria. Dependent upon number of existing accounts
ii. Double-click on desired account to enable editing
5. Select Transactions tab
a. Click Record Payment button
b. Enter the monies received and Payment Type
i. To apply automatically to oldest ticket first then come forward until all monies applied, select Distribute Payment
ii. To apply manually to specific tickets, enter the monetary value for the specific ticket in Payment field
c. When Total Distributed displays in green, click Apply Payment (F5)
