Disconnect cash drawer from computer
Reboot computer
Confirm all four (4) dip switches on cash drawer are in up (0) position
Reconnect to computer
Test opening cash drawer
If cash drawer still not responding
Open M-S Cash Drawer utility
Verify utility shows Status of System: USB Device Connected
Dip switches 1-3 in up (0) position set drawer to Drawer #1 in utility
If utility does not see device:
Disconnect cash drawer
Double-check dip switch settings
Restart computer
If Status of Cash Drawer is:
Closed but drawer is open
Open but drawer is closed
Close utility
Flip fourth (4th) dip switch down
Reopen utility and test
