Commissions
Adding Commission Rates in Service Setup
To add commission in Service Setup:
Go to the System Maintenance tab.
Select Sales from the side panel.
Select the Services button.
Double-click on a service to select it.
Select the Commissions tab.
Enter the commission details.
Enter the commission information.
Starting quantity - used for tier-based commissions. Default of “0” should be used.
Ending Quantity - used for tier-based commissions. Default of “0” should be used.
Top, Bottom, Service, and Manager Commission - each position can collect a different commission amount per unit sold. (The positions are assigned as part of the service team.)
Upsale Commission - feature is related to car wash (no service team).
Select the Save button when done.
Adding Commission Rates to Other Items in Sales
To add commission rates to other items in Sales:
Go to the System Maintenance tab.
Select Sales from the side panel.
Select the desired item button.
Cards/Certificates
Discounts
Coupons
Select the Sales button desired.
Double-click on an item to select it.
Select the Commissions tab.
Enter the commission details.
Select the Save button when done.
Adding Commission Rates in Category Setup
To add commission in Category Setup:
Go to the Inventory Management tab.
Select My Central Inventory from the side panel.
Select the Category Setup button.
Select the Search button.
Double-click on a Category to select it.
Select the Commissions tab.
Enter the commission details.
Select the Save button when done.
Entering commission rates as a positive value will reduce the total commission on the reports.
Commission Report
To run a report that includes commissions:
Go to the Business Management tab of eGenuity.
Select My Reporting.
Select the Reports button.
Scroll and find the Employee Hours and Commissions report.
Select the Period from the dropdown box or enter Start/End dates.
Select the Preview button to see the report.
