FAQ: Clear User Lockout

After a predefined number of login attempts, set in the Stores portion of eLube, a user is locked out of the system. To clear the account lockout and allow the user to log into the eLube software, perform the steps as outlined.

Instructions

  1. Open eLube software

  2. Select ‘System Maintenance’ from top panel menu

  3. Select ‘Employees / Security’ from left panel menu

  4. Click on Employees icon

     

    1. Double-click on appropriate employee to enable editing

    2. Select ‘Security’ tab

    3. Select ‘Clear Lockout’ button

       

    4. The ‘Clear Lockout’ confirmation window displays

    5. Select ‘Yes’

       

    6. Click ‘Save(F5)’

  5. Close Employee (Editing) window
